Elegant Barn Estate 25 mins from Portland!
The Barn on Walnut Hill is one of Maine's most sought after venues, located conveniently just outside of Portland. For more than a decade, the property has been setting the bar for timeless, elevated, and modern events in a charming, quintessentially New England setting.
Walnut Hill's serene and beautifully landscaped estate-like grounds offer an intimate setting to host your event between May - November. Located just 25 minutes northwest of Portland in the desirable town of North Yarmouth, the custom-designed gardens and four green acres provide an enchanting setting for your celebration. The attached 19th-century barn and farmhouse have been meticulously restored and renovated to capture Maine's charm while simultaneously offering modern amenities to facilitate flawless events.
Weddings at Walnut Hill include use of the entire property, including overnight accommodations in the farmhouse for 12 guests from Thursday through Sunday. For couples interested in a Sunday wedding, it is possible to shift the dates to Friday to Monday depending on the weekend.
You are welcome to host your ceremony and reception on site, as well as also rehearsal dinner, welcome drinks, and even a farewell brunch if you'd like. Past couples have shared that being able to make themselves totally at home with family and friends allowed them to truly soak up all of the "little moments" around the big day, from morning yoga with friends in the barn to late night around the fire pit with family.
Additionally, given Walnut Hill's proximity to Portland, many couples love that they can combine the best of the city (including restaurants, hotels, and rental homes for guests) with the natural beauty and privacy of an elevated outdoor setting for their wedding day.
One of the other unique things about marrying at Walnut Hill is that you'll have the opportunity to do some good, just by celebrating with us! Through our Love/Give program, we donate a share of our proceeds from every wedding to organizations that are making a difference for Maine’s people and places.
